school sex

Question by sandra b: What is a school's responsibility regarding a parent who is a sex offender?

What is the school's responsibility when it disc overs that a parent at the school is a registered sex offender? Shouldn't the school notify parents, particularly when playdates, birthday parties and other events are going out where people are unaware that this male parent is a registered sex offender?
This is a real sex offender situation in which a middle aged man attempted to meet a 13 year old girl at a hotel (before being arrested). It is not my attempt to "destroy" anyone but actions do have consequences, otherwise this person would not be REQUIRED to be on a registry for 20 years.

if he is a class of offender that ahould not be around kids, yea sure but some get that label for just urinating in public or even conscenual public sex, nor all offenders deserve the label and you should make sure he is a real risk before you destroy him and his child.
